A Classic Spring Wedding at Hidden Pond

A peaceful retreat

When I showed up on Friday for Emi and Dan’s rehearsal, it was raining - a lot. Boy did it turn around within the next 24 hours! It was a picture perfect 60-degree day. The foliage around Hidden Pond had already started to bloom, resulting in an ideal backdrop for a first look. This beautiful and peaceful Kennebunkport resort created the perfect retreat for the couple and their family and friends. The ceremony was appropriately officiated by their law school friend who added a heartfelt touch to the opening remarks. Guests were invited directly into cocktail hour to enjoy delicious appetizers .

Dinner under the lights

Dinner commenced under the Sperry tent adorned with bistro lights by Griffin & Griffin, who adds a unique touch to every event they serve. Alternating patterned tables fitted by La Tavola had fun blue goblets and rattan chargers provided by Peak Services ready for a family style dinner.

Hidden Pond was the ideal gathering for many guests who had never visited Maine. From Japan and Hawaii to Kentucky and Florida, guests gathered in celebration of Emi and Dan. It was an unforgettable day as you can see in the images captured below by Jamie Mercurio.
